About us
Practice Cekić was founded by Prof. Dr. Ana Cekić-Arambašin in 1992 as a specialist practice for periodontology and oral medicine, and has since grown into an institution engaged in advanced dental medicine.
We are narrowly specialized in severe cases, implant-prosthetic rehabilitation of edentulous patients, and work with patients with dental phobia.
Who are our patients?
Our patients are individuals who seek a higher level of dental care, especially those who require:
- Complex multidisciplinary rehabilitation – we assemble a team of several experts from different specializations to provide a comprehensive solution to the problem
- Advanced dental implantology – modern methods of implant placement, even in the most demanding cases
- Implant prosthetics – in particular custom made crowns, bridges, and implant-supported dentures.
Treatments are therefore individualized and adapted to each patient. Quality of life through oral health comes first.

Our team
Prof. dr. sc. Ana Cekić-Arambašin
DMD
Born in 1943 in Zagreb. From 1967 to 2008, she was a full professor at the Faculty of Dental Medicine in Zagreb. She is a specialist in oral and dental pathology with periodontology and a primarius at the Clinical Hospital Center Zagreb. She is the founder of Ordinacija Cekić and a permanent expert collaborator of the clinic.
Ivana Cekić
DMD
Born in 1973 in Zagreb. She completed the Dental Technician School and the Faculty of Dental Medicine in Zagreb (1998). She regularly undergoes professional training in Croatia and abroad.
Dean Cekić
DMD
Dean Cekić was born in Zagreb. He completed the Dental Technician School in Zagreb in 1992, followed by the Faculty of Dental Medicine in Zagreb in 1998 and the Master Clinician Program in Implant Dentistry in Los Angeles in 2008. He regularly undergoes professional training in Croatia and abroad. His areas of expertise include implant prosthetics in general, with a special interest in computer-guided implantology, implant rehabilitation of edentulous patients, the use of growth factors in tissue regeneration, and working with patients suffering from dental phobia. Since 2007, he has been involved as an educator in various forms of training, from courses to congresses. He is a certified trainer for MIS implants Ltd. and KOL for BoneEasy individual implants.
Ana Prkić
DMD
She was born in Split where she completed high school and the Faculty of Dental Medicine. She gained experience working in dental tourism, and she also translates scientific articles for the professional journal Quintessence. Her area of interest is implant prosthodontics. She regularly participates in professional training and congresses.
Igor Zakšek
DMD
Doctor of dental medicine with many years of experience in working with patients in private practices and health centers. He is particularly interested in fixed prosthetics and oral surgery, and regularly improves his skills at professional seminars and congresses. In his spare time, he plays tennis, goes cycling and snowboarding. He also enjoys music and playing the guitar.
Ana Geri
Dental assistent
In dentistry since 2017, and working with Dr. Cekić since 2019. It is a path of various business challenges and improvement in the performance of oral surgical procedures. She loves every segment of work and performs it very happily together with the team.
Josip Curl
Medical technician
A medical technician with more than 10 years of experience who started assisting in oral surgery and has continued this passion until today. His specialty is assisting in the most difficult situations. He likes to spend time in nature and with his family.
